*NB. Before adding our biochar to any soil/compost, soak it well first. Cover it with at least four times the volume of our liquid nutrition solution or water. We call this ‘charging’. You can also add additional nutrients to the biochar. at this stage (any water soluble nutrient will work well such as a homemade nettle decoction). If possible leave the mixture to soak for a couple of days, but at least 5 hours will do.
